I’m Trudi Netherwood. I qualified as a personal & business coach in 2009 after 20+ years in marketing. I am an ICF credentialled Professional Certified Coach.
In 2020 I was diagnosed with Inattentive ADHD, aged 53. The missing pieces fell into place, about me and about so many of my clients, so I trained with ADDCA to specialise in ADHD Coaching.
Understanding neurodiversity strengthens my coaching for all clients, not just those with ADHD. We are all unique and nuanced self-understanding is the foundation for lasting personal growth.

I help people understand how their brains work, on an entirely personal level, and learn how to work with their natural operating system.
I help clients shift the trajectory of their lives toward greater fulfilment and self-trust.
I do this through 1:1 coaching, group coaching, and training programmes, both online and in person.

Anytime is a good time to begin coaching and be proactive with your self-development. However there is generally a ‘tipping-point’, such as:
recent diagnosis or recognition of ADHD
you feel it’s time to break the cycle of frustration, self-judgement, overworking /underachieving or burnout.
old coping mechanisms don’t work anymore
you’re ready to stop struggling and start thriving
Work/career changes - planned or unplanned
Relationships: tensions/frustrations, break-ups, new relationships
Changes in living arrangements: relocating, empty nests, people moving in, people moving out, upsizing, downsizing
Family dynamics: some need you less, some need you more, you may feel pulled in all directions or not needed anymore
Grief or loss
Changes in your health
The need to make new decisions in the face of what life is bringing

No. I have been coaching for 15+ years, long before I became an ADHD specialist. I welcome clients who are not looking for neurodiversity support - as well as those who are.
-
No. Especially given the long waits for assessment and diagnosis, it is absolutely possible - and sensible - to start building the skills you need to support yourself with the challenges you face.
